Herb Schwartzkopf has been a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7972 for 30 years and is a life member. Previously, he served in many offices including Post Commander and Quartermaster, District Commander and State Surgeon. Herb is a veteran of the United States Navy and earned his eligibility for the VFW with overseas duty from 1970 to 1972 in Vietnam. |

Phil Irby has been a member of VFW Post 8773 for 13 years and is a life member. He has previously served in many offices including Post Commander and District Commander. He is also a member of the National Military Assistance Committee. Phil is a veteran of the United States Army and earned his eligibility for the VFW with overseas service from 1990 to 1991 in Kuwait. |

J. T. Plummer has been a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for 32 years and is a life member. He has previously served in many offices including Post Commander and District Commander. He was the State Patriot Pen Chairman for the 2007-2008 year. He served in the United States Air Force from January 1964 to April 1987 and earned his eligibility for the VFW with service from May 1968 to September 1973 in Vietnam. |

Shawn Moore is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3115 in Wichita, Kansas. He served in the Unites States Army from November 2000 to May 2006 and earned his eligibility for the VFW with service from 2002 to 2004 in Kuwait and Iraq. |
